Our name: BlackStar Bamboo bikes

In the centre of the Ghanaian flag there is a black star. It refers to a forgotten history, started in 1919 by the visionary pan-Africanist, Marcus Garvey. With his Black Star Shipping Line he wanted to make the global economy more accessible for African goods, and to make African trade less dependent on the European and American shipping lines. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see the connection, does it?
